🔍 About the Whisky: This exceptional expression was aged in Fino Sherry Butt cask #397. Fino Sherry is a dry, light-coloured fortified wine from Spain, matured under a layer of yeast called “flor,” which imparts a nutty, salty taste. When used to age whisky, Fino Sherry Butts transfer some of these unique features, including pale colour and freshness, to the spirit. This is the first time Annandale Distillery has bottled from Fino Butts, and the results are delightful! The whisky is bottled at a cask strength of 60.4% ABV.
